Calculations are based on the following formulas:
- for downconversion (fIF < fc):
- if fLO > fc , then fLO = fc + fIF and fci = fc + 2fIF ;
- if fLO < fc , then fLO = fc - fIF and fci = fc - 2fIF .
- for upconversion (fIF > fc):
- if fLO > fIF , then fLO = fc + fIF and fci = fc + 2fIF ;
- if fLO < fIF , then fLO = fIF - fc and fci = 2fIF - fc .
